Wedding Officiant in Tampa Bay

A Ceremony in Your Words

Weddings à la Carte offers a wedding officiant in Tampa Bay who leads your ceremony with warmth. Rocío guides you through the welcome, vows, rings and any unity ritual, such as a sand ceremony, so the moment feels personal.

Your Ceremony

Warm, Personal, and Entirely Yours

The ceremony is the heart of the day, and the person leading it sets its tone. Rocío leads with a calm voice and a clear order of events, and she shapes the moment around the two of you.

Because she also plans and coordinates weddings, she knows how a ceremony fits into the rest of the day: when guests are seated, when the music cues, when the photographer needs the aisle. Book an officiant alone, or alongside day-of coordination.

Tell Rocío about your families, your faith or traditions, and the tone you want, whether joyful, tender or lightly funny, and she will fold it into the ceremony.

A Unity Ritual For the Whole Family

A sand ceremony lets two people, and sometimes their children, pour their colors into one vessel. Rocío has led it under a floral arch by the water, and she will talk through whether it, or another ritual, suits your ceremony.

Vows and Rings Said Your Way

Some couples want traditional words, and some want to write their own. Rocío can work with either, and she keeps the pace gentle so that nobody is rushed through the moment they came for.

Fitted to Your Whole Day Without the Scramble

A ceremony runs better when someone is watching the clock behind it. If you also hire Rocío to coordinate, one person leads the vows and keeps the guests, the music and the photographer in step.

What Florida Law Says In Plain Language

Florida law lists who may solemnize a marriage: ordained clergy, judicial officers including retired ones, clerks of the circuit courts and notaries public. Quaker and Friends ceremonies are recognized in their own form.

Your marriage license is valid for 60 days after it is issued, and the ceremony must happen within that window. Afterward, the person who solemnizes the marriage completes the certificate on the license and returns it to the clerk within 10 days.

This is general information, not legal advice, so confirm current requirements with your county clerk. Our guide to how to get married in Florida walks through the license step by step.

Wedding Officiants, Answered

Can anyone officiate a wedding in Florida?

No. The state lists who may solemnize a marriage, so a friend or relative generally needs to fall into one of those categories. Check the details with your county clerk before you choose.

Can you include a sand ceremony or another ritual?

Yes. A sand ceremony is one ritual Rocío has led, and she is glad to talk through other symbolic touches that suit you.

How much does a wedding officiant cost?

It depends on your date, your location and how involved the ceremony is. Rocío gives you clear pricing after she reviews your inquiry, and our cost guide explains what shapes it.

Can you officiate on short notice?

Send your date and Rocío will tell you what is possible. If she cannot, she can help source another officiant through her trusted network.

Do you travel to our ceremony location?

Yes. Rocío comes to your venue, across Tampa Bay and, regularly, to Miami, Jacksonville and the rest of Florida.
